Dear RBES Families,

My name is Mitch North and I have the privilege of serving as the principal of Red Bud Elementary School. I hope to work with all students, teachers, staff, and families to create a fun, engaging, and welcoming educational environment for everyone who enters our school. We want our school to be a place where students and faculty are excited to walk through the door and grow as people every single day.

Our goal as educators at RBES is to prepare our students for success at the high school level and beyond. We hope to build a firm foundation for our students to grow into lifelong learners and well rounded individuals through quality educational and extracurricular activities. Attending school also serves the purpose of learning how to interact socially, overcome adversity, manage disappointments, celebrate successes, and become a self-sufficient and supportive member of a larger community. This process can be challenging, but we will be here to support our students every step of the way as they navigate this phase of life and all future phases. Remember, to an educator, every student will always be “one of our kids.” 

We will always strive to do what is best for our students, but if you as a parent or guardian ever have any concerns or input that you would like to share, please do not hesitate to reach out via phone call, email, or just stop by the school office. While I am reasonably certain that I will not be able to please everyone, I am certain that I can be reasonable. Please help us, as a school, best meet the needs of our students by being a partner in the educational process.

Mrs. Zipfel - RBES Assistant Principal

Dear RBES families,

My name is Jana Zipfel and I am proud to serve as Assistant Principal for Red Bud Elementary.  I am a lifelong resident of Red Bud and have enjoyed serving the community of Red Bud as both an educator and now in the role of Assistant Principal.  I am looking forward to working with our school families and building relationships with students.  

Our focus at RBES is to create a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment for all students.  Much like my own school experience here, I want to ensure that the students and teachers of RBES are ready to learn, be challenged, and take pride in their school.  

At RBES we will work to make decisions based on what is best for our students, while also allowing input from students, teachers, families, and the community.  Continuous improvement can happen when everyone works together.  We want parents and the community to take an active role in learning about all the great things happening at RBES.
