ARP-ESSER III Use of Funds Plan
Per ISBE, each school district that receives ARP/ESSER funds must develop a plan for use of the funds and provide an opportunity for public input on the plan. Below is a preliminary plan for our district’s allocation. ESSER III General Allocation = $1,168,872 (20% must address learning loss)
Proposed Expenditures (80% of allocation = $935,000)
Salaries and benefits for classroom teachers
Assessment data monitoring and evidence-based interventions to address the negative impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Salary and benefits for a part-time nurse
Assist with developing strategies and public health protocols to minimize the spread of Covid-19.
PPE
Technology (Chromebooks, iPads, flat-screen TVs for presenting, desktop computers, assessment data monitoring, ethernet upgrade, Wifi enhancements
Minimizing the learning gap for students of low-income and those most negatively impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

This plan has been on our website, discussed at Board meetings, administratively, and with staff and parents.
All expenditures, along with specific planning for after-school and summer school programs, will be dependent upon a successful grant application process.
