The first Athlete of the Month awards for the 2023-24 school year go to seniors Dakota Hohgrefe and Lane Brockmeyer.
Dakota is an outside hitter on the Musketeer volleyball team. Dakota currently leads the Musketeers in hitting percentage and kills, in which she currently holds a top-20 position state-wide. Dakota is also an outstanding student, and is ranked in the top 5 for the Class of 24.
Lane is a starting defensive back and the kicker for Musketeer football. In week one against Pinckneyville, Lane returned two interceptions for touchdowns and added 4 PATs. Lane also excels at the student portion of being a student-athlete, and is a high performer in the classroom.
