Our latest Athletes of the Month are Maria Murry and Lane Diewald. Maria is team captain and libero for the volleyball team. Maria recently achieved a career milestone with her 1000th dig. Maria has earned tournament MVP and all-tournament honors this year, in addition to be featured on the AVCA Phenom Watch List. Lane, a sophomore member of the golf team, had a great September. Lane averaged scores of 77 and 38 on the month, and was the Cahokia Conference individual champion. Lane has served as a model for his teammates for how a Musketeer should act on the course and in the classroom.
