Congratulations to our Athletes of the Month, Kiersten Wegener and Danny Jackson. Kiersten is a senior captain for the cheer squad. Kiersten was nominated for the motivation and leadership that she provides for her teammates, ensuring that practice time is valued and taken seriously. Coach Friess also highlighted the assistance Kiersten provides with JV student-athletes. Danny is a sophomore wrestler and two-time IHSA State medalist. Danny serves as co-captain for the team and leads by example, setting the standard for his teammates with his hard work and positive attitude. According to Coach Schloemann, Danny “exemplifies what it means to be a dedicated student-athlete.” Thanks to Jena Gibbs of EXP Realty and Liz Russell of Southside Strength and Conditioning for supporting the Musketeers.
