ACES

Academic Challenge (ACES) is  state-wide competition organized by Eastern Illinois University that tests student abilities in a variety of subject matters, including:

  • Chemistry
  • Physics
  • Biology
  • Math
  • Engineering Graphics
  • English
  • Computer Science
Team members take a computer-based test in two of the subject areas above, and those test scores are then compared to opponent schools.  Much like other events, the ACES State Series consists of regional, sectional, and then state level competitions.  The Musketeer ACES recently took 1st place in their sectional, and will next compete for a state title.  Congrats to the team, and also to the following individual medalists:
